Booth – Admissions Chat Tomorrow

One of the many organizations I’m involved with at Chicago Booth is the Dean’s Student Admissions Committee, a group of student volunteers who assist the school in managing the annual admissions process. We do things like greet prospective students, take them to classes, give them tours, etc.

Tomorrow I’ll be joining the Dean of Admissions and other members of the admissions committee in one of the periodic online chats that are hosted each year. I’ll be fielding questions on what its like to be a student here – from classes to clubs to community to life in Chicago. Anyone interested in applying to or even just learning more about the school is welcome to join.

The chat starts tomorrow at 9am CST (that’s 10am for you east coast folks), and can be accessed at the following link: http://www.chicagogsb.edu/fulltime/chat/. A transcript will be posted shortly after as well.

This is my first time doing something like this. Wish me luck!

[Update: The transcript of the chat has been posted here. Because a technical snafu (read: I'm an idiot) my responses didn't start showing up until the second half of the chat. Search for my name though, and you'll see me constantly end sentences with unnecessary enthusiasm like this!]

  1. Maybe next you can organize a clickbooth which could help online visitors take a virtual tour of the campus, classes and other important places which a future student should know about.
