My cable went out, 37 minutes into the 24 season premiere. I am NOT happy right now.
Conversation with Time Warner:
Me: My cable just went out.
TWC Guy: Looks like an outage was declared literally one minute ago for your area.
Me: Damn. Do you know how long it will be?
TWC Guy: Unfortunately not, it was just declared. We’re working on it.
Me: Ugh, I’m missing the 24 season premiere.
TWC Guy: Don’t say anything about it! If it makes you feel better, I’m at work and I can’t watch either.
Me: This sucks.
TWC Guy: (in a whisper) You can probably download it off the internet after the show.
Me: Um…
TWC Guy: Yeah, I mean, after we restore your service…

Update: Conveniently, service was restored at 10:01pm. Thank you, dear cable company, for being a royal pain in my ass.
Update: I did in fact download it off the internet, and stay up until 3am watching it. More later.

I was crying for you uncontrolably until I saw that you were able to download it! I watched all 4 hours yesterday… God I love Jack Fuckin’ Bauer (and yes, that’s his official name)!
