I know you’ve been looking for a post from me, but I’ve been really busy with work and some other things lately (which is why I’m writing this post at 4:30 in the morning). My New Year’s resolution was going to be to blog more often, and I’ve pretty much failed at that without even getting started.

New Year’s weekend was a blast. A bunch of my friends from school came to New York, and the weekend was a shitshow in its dullest moments. In a few months, I’ll be seeing most of them again for the Jayman’s bachelor party, and judging by the state my mind and body are in, I’m almost not looking forward to it.

Michigan. I don’t know what to say or do, other than to sigh and hang my head in shame. Is it too late to become a Boise State fan so I have some semblance of a feeling of pride?

(Side note: One of my best friends from high school - a Gator - called me on January 2 to tell me he got engaged. His voicemail started like this “Amish, I am not calling to talk about the Michigan game…” Wow, I’ve instilled fear in the minds of my friends.)

The bowl pool has not gone well either. I have no hope of winning. Though I’m doing better than previous years, I now have no hope of even securing last place, which earns a prize this year. Mediocrity - wooo.

I’m not sure what the highlight of my day has been. Its a tossup between dinner at Taco Bell and a few minutes standing on my balcony, clicking the keychain of my rental car for work (parked on the street below) and watching people’s startled reaction at the random beep as they walk by.

Anyway, I need sleep. I’ll be back soon.
