Say you’re at work and you need to go pick something up from someone who you’ve never met, who sits in a sea of cubicles on a floor you’ve never been to. You get lost walking around, so you stop at someone’s cubicle and ask if they can help you find where you’re going. The cubicle dweller offers his help, and starts to walk back toward the way you came. Do you say:
1) Oh, did I miss it?
2) Oh, did I pass it?
Or do you do what I did and say,
3) Oh, did I piss it?
